- On-site technical support and equipment rental with or without the space
Who shoots here
Photographers, brands, e-commerce sellers and content creators use SkyLight for editorial and commercial work: fashion lookbooks, product and food photography, portraits, lifestyle content and video. The sets are arranged before you arrive, so your time on the clock goes to shooting, not setup.
Book by the hour or long-term
Rent a single set or the whole studio, by the hour or for multi-day productions. Tell us your shoot type and dates on WhatsApp and we will hold your slot and have the space ready.
Looking for a photo studio near you?
SkyLight is at 8, 47 Street, Dubai Investment Park 2 (SP Warehouses), on the Expo City side of the city, with free parking at the door and ground-floor load-in for racks and cases. Typical drive times: Expo City and Dubai South 15–20 minutes, Dubai Marina and JBR around 20 minutes, JLT 22–25 minutes, Downtown and Business Bay 25–30 minutes, DIFC 28–35 minutes. A Dubai Metro Red Line station serves DIP, which helps when part of the crew arrives without a car. Treat those as honest averages — Dubai drive times move with the hour. We are open daily 10:00–22:00, so an evening or overnight block is a real option if the daytime traffic is the problem.
What photo studio rental in Dubai costs
Photo rental is priced per zone: 350 AED an hour for up to eight people, two studio flashes and any modifier included, +5% VAT, minimum one hour. Longer blocks bring the hourly rate down — 700 AED for two hours, 1,400 for four, 2,000 for six, 2,500 for an eight-hour day with the ninth hour free, 3,500 for twelve. A full night, 22:00 to 08:00, is 3,000. Video is booked differently: the whole studio, all seven sets, from 750 AED an hour with lighting included.
Most shoots need nothing beyond what already stands in the zone. Extra fixtures — Aputure, Nanlite and Godox heads — rent from 100 AED each when a scene calls for them. Full tiers are on the photo studio rental price page; film and video rates sit on the video studio rental page.
Which set to book for your photoshoot
Pick the set by what you are shooting, not by the floor plan. Fashion, lookbooks and anything that needs a clean seamless background go on the 8×6 m cyclorama. Personal brand, interviews and lifestyle sit better in the loft or the vintage living room. Food, recipe reels and cooking video belong in the working kitchen set. Luxury campaigns use the private jet cabin; streetwear and industrial frames use the container.
Booking two zones back to back in one day is normal here — the sets stand permanently, so moving between them costs minutes, not a second rental day. Tell us the shoot type on WhatsApp and we will say which zone fits and roughly how many hours it takes.
